'Hosta Adventure’ now available

Clarence Falstad, American Hosta Society vice president, has announced that the long-awaited hosta primer/handbook is available now.  Jane Diesen has ordered 100 copies, which is available for club members to buy for $5.00.  [One dollar will go to the Shady Choice treasury.]

The Hosta Adventure” is an exciting and stylish publication with 32 pages in full color.  The chapters include Hosta Background, Landscaping, Floral Arrangements, Hosta Buying, Planting and Growing, Propagation, Pests and Diseases, New Hostas, Hosta Societies and a list of other resources and plant types.  “This is not just a book for beginners,” Falstad says.  “It’s for everyone who loves hostas.
